Anger Management 101: Tips for Managers When Tempers Flare

It’s not good for business when employees are aggressive with co-workers, management or customers. Both managers and HR professionals are spending more time addressing the issue of employee outbursts. A recent survey indicated that up to 42% of employee time is spent engaging in or trying to resolve conflict. That’s a considerable amount of time to waste and leads to stress, low morale, and hampered performance. This ultimately leads to reduced profits to your business and compromised service to your customers.

On Thursday, December 16, we held a webinar on the causes of anger in the workplace and how to intervene before matters progress. As a result of this webinar participants had a better understanding of:

  • Why employees act out their anger at work
  • How to prevent yourself from being reactive to these outbursts
  • What strategies you and your organization can offer to help employees express themselves more appropriately

Who should attend
This webinar provides helpful information to HR professionals, managers, supervisors, and executives--anyone who wants to learn more about workplace anger and what they can do about it. If you have a stake in improving your organization’s people skills then this webinar is for you.

For those who were unable to attend, below is a recording of the webinar.
