Keep everyone working to their full capacity - from the pre-placement process through injury/illness and return-to-work.
We combine a detailed knowledge of the jobs at your company, with the medical expertise to make certain that the employees you hire have the capacity to perform the essential functions of their job safely.
We start with a detailed assessment of each job’s physical and mental requirements, which we then translate into a specific, customized testing program overseen by our team of occupational health experts. With this combination of analysis & examination, we can help put the right person in the right job at the right time.
When it comes to the equally complex task of assessing recently injured or ill workers, our board certified Occupational Health physicians, will work with you and your employee in an objective manner to determine an employee’s ability to perform their essential functions without risk to themselves or their co-workers.
We at AllOne Health also have the tools to assist in transitioning an employee back to work after short-term or long-term disability. Our case management nurses review each case, taking into account the company, the job, and all applicable insurance and governmental regulations. When workers are ready to return-to-work, medical providers at any of our global network of more than 6,000 clinics can conduct a fitness-for-duty examination. The exam is reviewed by AllOne Health to ensure that each employee has the capacity to safely perform his or her essential job functions with or without accommodation. In complex cases, additional information regarding fitness-for-duty can be obtained through functional capacity evaluations (FCE’s) by a physical therapist, independent medical exams (IME’s), or second opinions from a specialist.
By following a thoughtful and consistent fitness-for-duty process, compliance with regulations such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), as well as the guidelines of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), can be ensured.
