Return-to-Work Services
Whether a work absence is due to an illness, disabling injury, care of a dependent, or another reason, AllOne Health has the services to make the transition back to work a smooth and stress-free one. Working closely with returning workers and employers’ human resources staff, we interface with rehabilitation specialists, mental health practitioners, and other clinical professionals to bring about a productive re-engagement to work duties. Types of services include fit-for duty exams, second or third opinions, independent medical exams or functional capacity exams.
When these services are needed, the client contacts AllOne Health with the request or concerns. Upon speaking with one of our nurses, it can be determined if a specific exam would be a better fit. Fit-for duty exams require a job description of the employee along with the recent release from their medical provider for the condition in which they were treated. The nurse will schedule the exam and forward the information to the provider performing the exam. The employee will leave the appropriate release to give to the client and if any follow up is recommended, the nurse will communicate with the client and employee.
